Dr. Sterling Roberts, a native of New Orleans and a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, is a dedicated pediatric dentist and academic. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University in 2009 and her dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2015, where she was presi

Specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at New York University, Dr. Roberts completed her postdoctoral studies in 2017. Her dedication to global health is reflected in her international outreach work in Jamaica and Nepal, as well as local community outreach programs.

Joining the LSU School of Dentistry in 2021 as a part-time faculty member, Dr. Roberts advanced to Director of Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry and Assistant Professor in 2023. Her commitment to serving the underserved drives her work in dental education and community service in her home state of Louisiana.
